Default Who Was Matt Ramsey (House of David)?

I am making this post on behalf of Roy Zalameda, in the event that some of you might know him...

Does anybody know who Matt Ramsey was? His autograph is shown below. Written next to his name is "House of David". If anyone can provide any information, it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks (on behalf of Roy)....

Don't know anything about Matt Ramsey, but love Roy Zalameda...where is he now? We logged a lot of miles back in the mid-80s.

The House of David was a religious splinter/sect of Christianity that peaked in the first half of the 1900's.

They had a baseball team that was kind of like the Globetrotters of baseball that barnstormed during that time.

My guess is Matt Ramsey played for the House of David team, maybe even an exhibition against the Dodgers or Cardinals during that time frame.

Here is a link to a web site of them.

Thanks for all the great information! Keep it coming!

I keep waiting for Roy Zalameda to post here, but he hasn't yet. He requested a net54 membership a couple days ago... To my knowledge, he hasn't heard from any of the administrators regarding his membership... Leon? Dan? Matt? Can one of you guys please check on the status of Roy's net54 membership request?

Thanks!

Brad

Roy seems to be a great guy and just a bit technology challenged. He did send a registration request with his contact info, after a few emails back and forth. Then I went to approve him and he hadn't registered? I told him so in an email. We went back and forth for an email or two again, and then I just registered for him and approved him. This was yesterday but it seems to take him a little time between emails. I told him last night that I went a head and did everything for him and he is all set. I am not sure what else I can do? Again, no disrespect meant, I tried my best to help and he is all set now. He can email or call me if he needs to. I might be the most accessible guy in the hobby . (well, maybe not THE most, but I know I don't hide too well). regards
