Default Piedmont Art Stamps

Posted By: Bill

Just picked some of these at a local antique show.
Anyone have any additional info to supplement my 2000 SCD guide? Never seen them discussed here or for sale on e-bay (of course I wasn't looking for them, either).
Didn't even know they existed.
Thanks - Bill

Hi Bill:

This issue is extremely condition sensitive since must were put in albums. If you haven't purchased Lew Lipset's The Encyclodia of Baseball Cards Volume 3, I would strongly recommend it. His books are invaluable! He describes this issue T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamps on pages 95-96.

Here are two that I own: George Gibson & Chief Meyers.

(I'm looking for Roger Bresnahan and Ira Thomas if you happened to pick up either of these players. I would be willing to make you an offer.)

Patrick

MOST were put in albums. Recommend picking up Lew Lipset's ENCYCLOPEDIA of Baseball Cards.
