Default T201z

Thanks Fellas! glad to help out, just paying it forward!

Love the crazy T201 diamond cuts and doubles!

here's a few of my favorites:

two different Laporte/Stephens miscuts and a Foster/Ward split.

Hey all

Since there are a bunch of T201 collectors in this thread, someone probably knows or has a good idea...

Were T201s essentially printed on and cut from strips? I've never seen a top to bottom miscut. Anyone have or seen any? It always seems to be left to right miscuts or diamond cuts, which shows that the left to right cuts were made after folding.

Oldeboo,

I have seen a "4-card" miscut where the card was so severely miscut top to bottom and right to left it had significant portions of 4 cards on it. Unfortunately, I did not buy it or note the 4 players on it.

However, you are right. I've been tracking miscut cards for years and don't often see to to bottom miscut cards.

Z

That's interesting. I've also noticed that it's rather common for these to have what appears to be wet sheet transfers on the front. Curiously, the transfers seem to mostly be at the top and bottom of the cards(part of the player from the reverse, then part of the border and sometimes factory numbet on the bottom). I suspect that points to the sheets being creased before getting stacked up after the front printing.

Factory #'s appear to be printed after the sheets were printed. If you compare the Factory #'s on the back of cards, they appear to be slightly offset on some random basis.

You may be able to use this information to some advantage. All the cards printed on the same sheet - should be offset in each direction by a similar amount.

Didn't need the Factory 649 or 30 for Chance/Every but got for what I think was a good price. You all have shown some cool miscuts.

A pretty nice Kling/Cole F30 sold at auction on Ebay for $214.51 plus tax and shipping

Word must be starting to get out on these!

That Fact 30 Kling/Cole coming home to Iowa and my T201 master set. Paid a lot more than I wanted but only the 4th to pop up. Someone else working on F30 jumped in for sure.
