Default OT: I'm on TV Today

This afternoon I went to my local pharmacy in Brooklyn to fill a prescription, and a crew from CNN was there to inteview the pharmacist about the shortage of flu vaccines. While I was paying for my scrip, the camera was on me. Sure enough the news story ran and I am right in the middle of the story! That's me wearing a green vest, and I've known the pharmacist Bassam Amin for many years. The story appears about 19 minutes into the show "The Situation Room." I don't know if it's shown all over the country, but I think it is. Pretty cool.

Barry,

Congratulations!

Does this mean the price for your autograph is going up?

Better yet, how about we chop the bag up into about 500 swatches and imbed them into cards to auction/raffle off so everyone can enjoy? (my first ever use of a smiley face!)

Great idea !!!

Maybe Barry could cut up the green vest & have a dual bag/cloth 1 of 100. That would really bring the $$$$

Sincerely, Clayton

where do i send my pharm bags in for an autograph? is a SASE necessary?

Very cool though. I donned the body paint for a 2001 woman's World Cup Soccer game and made the local Columbus, OH news. Just a short 2 minute interview but it was still pretty cool

Barry, Now that you have the thrill of being on national TV maybe you should be the one that does the show about collectors.

527,000 viewers...and maybe 2 of them recognized me.

Did anybody see the segment? Does CNN loop the news several times a day?

LOL Barry! I bought from you a couple of times through the SCD back in the late '80s...if you you want folks from those days to recognise you on the TV lick a raw G-VG Lundgren/Cubs and stick it to your forehead before the cameras turn on!
