At first glance I thought that the ink just looked too "fresh", like it was just signed recently. Then I looked up Dimaggio's date of death and I did not realize he died so recently, in 1999. It's possible that a signature from his later years could still be that well preserved. I have some autographed photos that are 20 years old and show no signs of fading. Are there any Dimaggio experts that can provide an opinion?

No comment on the signature, but that is one of the sketchiest COAs I've ever seen. "...purchased this date from me are authentic" on a certificate with no date? And we all know that any good COA has the background of a parchment scroll behind it.

I'm not a Dimaggio autograph expert, but I've seen hundreds of his autos. Just look at the "J" for a hint. Not even close to Joe's "J".

Looks a bit 'stiff' to me...don't feel too comfortable with it. COA alone would scare me off to be honest; I try to avoid stuff from no-name ebay companies.
