David G: I did a little netsurfing on the topic of "the fadeaway". Some say Rube Foster taught it to Matty, some say Mordecai Brown. Ring Lardner perhaps took poetic license. Even Buddy Holly got into the act. Made for some interesting reading but I was only able to conclude that baseball historians appear to be all over the map regarding the pitch's origins. |

thanks lyle!! the highest graded tharp's!, with either sgc or psa, it so happen's to be a cobb. looks great in the sgc holder, under magnifacation the bottm 2 corners are mint, the top 2 just have a hint, should be a 92..amazing card. |
