Default American Meat Institute Hot Dog Day

Here's an unusual request. Anyone have a roll call of baseball players who have attended the AMI Hot Dog Lunch each year?

Background
Every year in Washington DC, the American Meat Institute holds a hot dog day on Capital Hill. "Hot dogs and baseball are an American tradition and each year the Hot Dog Lunch pays tribute to this one-of-a-kind relationship [between hot dogs and baseball]."

Apparently it's been running for decades.

Every year at the lunch there are baseball players signing autographs. I'd like to see if anyone has a list of baseball players that attended each year.

I recently picked up an autographed ball from the event with Bob Gibson, Mark Fidrych and Vida Blue's autographs. I'm trying to pin down the year when all 3 of them were at the event to identify the year of the signatures.

But I'm curious if there's a master list somewhere.

If there's a master list, it would be at the AMI, right? And while you're at it, see if they have any promo material, like a flyer, poster, etc., for your year. You never know, they might send you one!

I have a list. Sorry, I don't know when Gibson appeared. The event is invitation only, the majority being political folk and their staffs who work on Capitol Hill. Neat event, great food but July in DC is brutally hot. I work a few blocks away and managed to get in once. After attending the event, I compiled the list below from information available on the web. There is usually a HOF that appears and guests are rarely repeated; well, except for Ray Knight, who worked for the Nationals at the time.

NAMI hosts the event - https://www.meatinstitute.org/

Thanks for that Dean. It sounds like a fun event.

I'd seen that Google Book reference in my searches. As the congressman in the book was elected in 1992 and the book was published in 2000, I'm pretty sure that the signing with Gibson, Fidrych and Blue was between 1993 and 1999.

I'll try to contact the NAMI as Hank suggested to see what info I can get from them. If I'm successful I'll post the results here.
