Default Help with a set of Stadium photos

Hi Gang:

I recently picked up a set of 8/16 mid 50's stadium photos I am hoping someone can ID.

They are 8 1/2 x 10 B&W non glossy heavier paper than from a magazine. They have not been cut from anything.

Each photo has one NL stadium on one side and an AL stadium on the reverse.

Kansas City is shown for the A's but the Giants and Dodgers are still in their NY stadiums thus these must be from 1955 to 1957.

Does anyone have more of these? Anyone have any info on who issued this group or when?

Appreciate any info you can provide

They kind of have a 70s T.C.M.A. look to them, but I think those always had those initials on everything they issued, so unless I'm wrong about that, I'm stumped.

Ahh, yes...that famous metal wall put up at Shibe Park, for the sole purpose of putting an end to the famous rooftop bleachers. Very cool photos!

Other than not being a card, they sort of remind me of the 1969 Fleer stadium cards.

I think we can narrow down the year to 1955 (or at least the year of the photos on the cards).
  • Washington Nationals had that name up until 1955
  • The Athletics moved to Kansas City for the 1955 season.

1955 is the only year that would be common across the stadiums (e.g. NY Giants, Brooklyn Dodgers, Connie Mack Stadium, Washington Nationals and the KC A's.)
