Wow! Look at that Barry Bonds card! Did Topps have the inside scoop long before everyone else?

I was disappointed Topps never did another series of these, or at least made them an insert for another set. They were cheap and fun, and clearly directed at a market that did not exist (kids who like to be pandered to with kid-oriented cards). Todd Zeile looks like he's realizing he won't be the next Johnny Bench, despite all the hype and minor league awards.

I loved those cards. Psychadelic colors with cartoons.
I always picked the stars out of 5/10 cent boxes for years at flea markets/shows. |

I have the Van Slyke as one of my type cards...
Always thought the gum in those packs was delicious! |

Just came across this thread and found it kind of funny. I feel like almost all baseball cards should be "for kids"

Kids can't afford them anymore, and that may be funny peculiar but not funny ha ha
