Default 1932 Fleer Whiz Bang

Just an FYI, PSA has added 1932 Fleer Gum Whiz Bang cards to the registry.
They are going to start grading the 3 known baseball players (Goslin, Grove and Hartnett).

For the set collectors out there - although there are only 3 baseball cards in the subset, the cards are difficult to find. The remainder of the set consists of actors, etc. with 1 or 2 cards having populations of 1 or 2.

My lone Whiz Bang; picked it up back in 2017 but certainly from the big REA find. Need to get it out and make a new scan I guess as the photobucket watermark isn't helping.

I remember when they had unopened boxes of these in one of the auctions. Which auction was that?

The Find and Link to Fleer:
Many people don’t know that the find of these unique cards was actually part of a much larger offering of candy issues that was being auctioned by REA. The cards were found in a box with unopened packages of gum. The box was really a large display, including the cards, gum, and an advertisement. The advertisement provides more information on the set and actually identifies the cards as ‘Taka-Flyers’ and ‘Boomerang Flyers.
