Looks like a collection for COMC if I've ever seen one. I don't know of any other consignment firm which will sell them all individually.

I agree with John.

Maybe contact fellow member Scott Russell (Aquarian Sports Cards on here). He might list the few better cards individually and make some lots with the low value cards.

Thanks for your input guys.

I was thinking Greg Morris cards, probstein, pwcc, those types of places. I know some of them have bad reputations on here which was the reason for my question.

Anyone have a history of consigning to any of these places?

You can check with them. From my understanding they are all 3 flooded with card at the moment so they might not want all the lower priced cards. I know it has been mentioned about Greg Morris cards on here recently. What ever you decide good luck.

Fred, I would do Probstein for these. Maybe list the ones over a few hundred as BIN on your own eBay acct. I have had good success with similar stuff. I just take a pic of all of my items before shipping.

Default I'm bad at Math but

..sheer financial positivity : PWCC gets higher prices from his buyers for PSA-graded sportscards....however , he charges a bit more than if you were to do it by yourself and let E-Bay take whatever it is they are taking nowadays....but I have found 100% of the time I as a seller ( or in this case "consignor to PWCC ) wind up with more $ $ clear by letting them do it all -- and not having to deal with the packing and shipping and post office line , and traffic ( oh ,and late payer/no payer ) that stuff is priceless beyond words........the cut-off point for me has been an estimated final auction price of more or less twenty bucks....if "sold" column for a card is less than $20 then yes , COMC is more logical...

..Gotta be some good backstory on how these particular cards fell into your life ???? Share ??

Hi Mike:

You are correct. There is a back story.

A good friend and fellow Hartland collector recently passed away. His family was kind enough to sell me his collection with the proviso I clean out everything because they did not want to deal with it all.

Thus, I ended up with these cards, other newer sets, Golf cards, McFarlands, a Dick Tracey wind up squad car, a GI Joe, autographed balls, etc. Things out of my knowledge zone like these modern cards

The way stuff is selling right now, if you have an eBay account sell the 10s yourself.

Thanks for the shout out Ben. Whiteymet, I would indeed auction all of these in one of our post war auctions, and I am willing to do much smaller lots than most auctions so many of them would sell individually. The only catch is I wouldn't be interested if you pulled the 10's. I am willing to take the chaff with the wheat, but I can't do nothing but chaff!

Scott

Default Maybe?

If you have any kind of ballpark price in mind, you may be able to sell the whole lot as a group on here and save yourself a lot of headaches! Consider it.....

OK, so I've considered it. Look at the Buy Sell Trade area. I decided to list the PSA graded cards as a group over there.

Someone can make a nice haul! Take a look!

Just changed this in BST to accepting offers on all the PSA graded cards.
