Default November Pickup Thread

I've been picking up some '75 Topps cards lately. This Yount arrived in Saturday's mail. Figured I'd kick off this month's thread with a HOF rookie.

Default Little Gems and a couple big ones

Random pickups, the nicest Koufax 15 I've seen, and the last two biggies checked off my 53 list. The Clemente East Hills card is pretty neat, I didn't know they were oversized until it arrived. I would recommend it as an affordable Clemente along with his 63 Fleer card.

Picked up one of my white whales. 1977 TCMA Lynchburg Mets Stu Gteenstein variation. Been on my wantlist for over 20 years. Now I can finally replace the reprint I have in my collection.

Here's another '75 Topps example I picked up this month.

Card 351, Bob Boone, is obviously not as recognizable as the Robin Yount with which I started this thread. However, he was on the 1980 Phillies team that brought 8-year-old me immeasurable pride and joy.

I finally completed the Fleer 1971 World Series set. This beater #69 cost me $31 but I was glad to get it!

Nice job completing the set Larry! It's always nice to put the final piece in the binder (or box, however you do it ).

Thanks!! I went in there hunting for vintage commons and saw this in the case for a reasonable price. Then he took 25% off. Deal!

Recently bought a big lot of early 50's Bowmans and this 53 Rizzuto/Martin was probably the highlight.
