I'd still put my money on Vernon Law for games 1, 4, and 7.

Normally I would agree, but Ford was a monster during those years...just look at that series and the 61 series. He wasn't going to be beat, but then, Mazeroski shouldn't have hit that homer either. LOL

Law had an awesome 1960 season, and he was starting 2 games at home.
Edge to the Deacon. There's a false myth that the Pirates were a weak team, but they had outstanding depth on both sides, and amazing defensive efficiency.

Here's a snapshot that I own of Game 7 winning pitcher Harvey Haddix warming up prior to him entering the game in the top of the 9th inning.

Herb Soltman and the Game 7 gang had a ceremony on Tuesday at PNC Park care of the Pirates in which social distancing was observed:

https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/...s/202010130151

At the Wall, there were two groups of celebration totaling around a hundred people at the times of the Mazeroski home run. One group was listening to a disc player while 30 feet away, just outside the Katz School of Business, another smaller group was watching the Crosby video on a laptop.

There was no social distancing :

Also, the video grouping's Mazeroski home run celebration happened at 3:36 p.m.

Great items everyone! Here is a bat that was made for the 25th anniversary. Elmer Gray was the scouting director for the Pirates in the mid 1980s.
