Default Roger Maris signed card opinion

There is an auction taking place in Fargo, North Dakota this weekend and among the items is a few signed Mantle and Roger Maris pieces. I through research have dismissed 2 already as one has a Coach's Corner COA, and the Mantle/Maris dual signed piece has a Skye-Box COA and know both are garbage. There's another Maris piece which is a 1961 Topps which was claimed to have been signed in-person at the Dedication of the Roger Maris Museum in Fargo before Maris passed away. I am looking for opinions on the 61 card with no TPA or COA's. My friend will be attending this auction. Thanks all for your extensive knowledge. www.villiardauction.com

Not a chance in hell, IMHO. Put them all together with the other autographs they are offering and I'd say it's a mom and pop auction that should not be auctioning off autographs. The Mantle's are horrendous, but you already know that. One fake two fake 3 fake, 1, not real...get it? 1 fake ALL fake. Don't try to put a square peg in a round hole is my opinion.

I looked at the stuff and saw it on FB in the Mpls area. I agree with Chuck on the rest of it, but that is not what you’re asking. I am unsure on the 61 Topps Maris. The Maris auctions from the golf tournament have had some great memorabilia come through it and many big stars used to play in it. They used to get items for their auctions sometimes directly from MLB teams. I have a few items in my collection that were purchased from the Maris golf tournament auction. That being said, this “auction” has a bunch of items that are no good so buyer beware.
