Looks that way. I just held it up in the sun and it looks like it says clyde. That's a nice catch because I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out.

Having a great month with Cobb. Half the credit goes to Jay and the other half to Henry. Thanks!

A nice little Cracker Jack addition. Registration on the card is superior to the registration on the label.

That's arguable, I think it is as it was his 1st widely available image, the hobby in general considers the Goudeys his rookie card since that qualifies as a "card" more than the thinner stock Kashin. Technically his true rookie card would be the Goblin Merrymint O.H. Melville card but I think there's only one of those.

Either way, the Kashin is one of his better playing day images in my opinion.

Nice Hornsby Adam, that one is surprisingly hard to find, and is my favorite image behind his 21 exhibits.

Default Thanks Robbie!

I want to thank Robbie for a flawless transaction as I added this amazing Foxx to my HOF collection! I blew right by my intended budget but how could I say no to this one??

Also, I added "grass" to my card cave so I thought I'd add a few additional images to give a virtual tour of my ever-changing card cave. Dang - still have NOT mastered keeping photos right side up!

(You might also see that I have given a special honor to the 2 cards that "started it all" for me in 1974 as an 8 year old Red Sox fan... good old Juan Beniquez and Rick Miller)

thanks again, Robbie!

Congrats on the Foxx Jeff, he was a great pick for your next target.

Re- sideways photos I've also had issues with just about anything taken from my iphone. They almost always post sideways here, though being properly oriented in my saved file. I've even tried to save four files of a pic, each rotated at 90 degrees and re-posting them one at a time. However when I preview the post, the only orientation that won't display is right side up.

The only way I've gotten them to right side up is to open the file in a format like paint, re-save it, then post. Guessing there are easier fixes, but this works for me.

Nice pickup Paul...I have never seen a blue ink version of W560 cards. They are normally either just black or red ink, or black and red. It looks legit, and it does have the SGC seal of approval, so congrats.

Jeff, congrats on the Foxx. By the way, where did you get those blown-up stadium photos? I've been toying with the idea of something similiar.

Jeff, congrats on getting the Joe Jax with a CLEAN H to H back. I would so love to pick up a WaJo with a comparable H to H back. I'm going to really enjoy watching you add to your 1916 Joe Jax back run.

If you PM me, I’ll track down the site - I bought the rights to the photo I wanted, and then ordered a custom canvas print to fit the opening of the old fireplace.

The photo rights were about $20, the canvas cost about the same and the stand was maybe $10?

Total, about $50 when all was said/done

Wow you guys get some amazing cards- love seeing your Chief Benders and uh that random guy Cobb 😆

All T206 backs except for Byrne are EPDG, Cycle, American Beauty ... thank you Luke for the latter 2 backs (middle 2 T206 cards in pic)!

Renay,

Love that pre-war Benintendi RC Auto! Just kidding! I do like the way he plays! Albeit now a Royal! Great pickups! Love that Bender/Matty 1905 Spalding cut-out page! Sweet!

Peace, Mike

Sure... I found the picture at Alamy, a photo licensing company.

Here is the link (tons of great images, $19.99 for the one I used)

Just got this simply because it makes me smile and I love that you can be Walter Johnson and still enjoy a totally unrelated hobby like dog showing

Nice pick up. Walter Johnson, 1st five, a man of incredible character. People often posit "if you could have dinner with five people who would they be?"
For me Walter Johnson would be one of them. Here's a 1/1 of Walter in hunt mode in the year 1913 when he owned the league.

That's an awesome image, shows perfectly him having strong character in his posture that he backed up on the field... and as a person. I also like how he always dressed the part even outside of baseball. And that you used 'posit'!
