Available today are 2 amazing Gehrig type 1 wire photos. 1. Joe McCarthy congratulates Lou Gehrig on his 1000th consecutive game 8/18/31. 8" x 10", light creases in all 4 corners. Paper tag attached from left edge to handshake, detached from there. SOLD 2. Lou Gehrig greeting Mickey Cochrane after return from his famous beaning. 7/15/36. 9" x 7" light scratch across middle, Cochrane's elbow to right edge. Verticlwe crazing from Cochrane's shoe top to elbow. Both seen mostly on an angle only. Paper tag 3/4 attached (left to end of date).
