Default New Collecting Adventure

My name is Michael. I have just signed up on this site to help in my start of a collection of baseball cards from the pre-war era. I have gotten some pointers from a pre-war collector but, my knowledge is still limited on the topic. I hope that this site will provide me better insight into the realm of card collecting.

My current collection is mostly filled with Dodgers from the 70s to now. I am looking to add some old school Brooklyn cards that will fit nicely into my collection. I will probably get my feet wet by trying to purchase some low grade 1910-11 cards. I will stick to the lower/cheaper end, at least until I get a better gauge on cards from this era.

Any helpful tips or pointers for a rookie, will be much appreciated. I am glad to be apart of this forum.
