Default Snail Mail

In December of 2008 I bought a card from a board member - after about a month it didn't arrive and so we worked out that he'd file an insurance claim and refund my money minus the shipping cost and we'd both be square. I went ahead and bought another copy of the card.

I thought that was the last of it.

The card came in today's mail. It's 2010.

Matt, I don't know that I ever followed through on the claim as I never could find the person I needed to at the PO & it seemed like way too big of a headache for the $40-50 or whatever I had insured it for. I don't really need the card back or anything so go ahead and sell it (if you want) and take your wife/girlfriend out to dinner or something, on me.

On the plus side...at least you know I wasn't lying when I said I sent it!

Rhett - if you're not sure if you followed through with the claim, the card is going right back to you. Maybe I should hand deliver it...

It's really pretty comical - the mailer looks like it could have been sent 2 days ago, not 2 years ago.
