A rivalry is born
The 2 greatest players of their generation (both rookies) Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin. 1st game ticket against each other
On Nov. 22, 2005, Ovechkin and Crosby met on the ice as NHL stars-in-waiting for the first time, and neither disappointed. Crosby ended the night with a goal and a assist ,And Ovi finished with a assist. We've seen some astounding moments from Crosby and Ovechkin since then, for sure, but every rivalry has to start somewhere, and this one started here.
