Default 1953 Topps Baseball Card Poster by Gerry Dvorak

Good Morning Net54 community
Subject: 1953 Topps Baseball Card Original Art By Gerry Dvorak Poster

I need help to identify this 1953 Topps Baseball card poster by Gerry Dvorak, the artists behind 50 1953 Topps Baseball cards. I search the internet including WorthPoint. I couldn't come up with another copy. Gerry Dvorak passed in 1999.
I conducted a Black Light test described by Paul Messier which will tell one if a photo or poster is vintage or a modern print. The results, this poster has a muted, faded purple glow which make this poster print before 1970.

My questions: Has anyone in this community seen this exact poster?
Was this an advertisement for the 1953 Topps Baseball cards?
Maybe this was a pre production print Mr. Dvorak never released?

Took this poster to JSA on Monday 11/30. All signatures passes and a Full Letter will be sent to me sometime in the next few weeks, per jimmy Spence himself told me. Gerry Dvorak signed to Stewart alone with the signatures Eddie Mathews, Clem Labine, Bobby Morgan and Al Schoendienst.

Any information is appreciated - Thank's to the Net54 community for all your help

Modern acid free paper doesn't react to UV. It may reflect some, appearing bluish or purplish depending on the surface.

Hi Michael

Gerry Dvorak and I were close friends. I met Gerry at the Freehold (NJ) Show in the Summer of 1981. I was a dealer set-up at this show. Gerry came to my table and selected
44 cards from my 1953 TOPPS album. Some of the cards were stars, others were common players. My curiosity prompted me to ask him if he was near completing the '53 set.
I was amazed at his response. He told me that he was the artist who created these images for the TOPPS Co. back in 1952. And, the cards he selected were the ones he did.

Gerry gave me his business card, so we kept in touch for many years. Plus, I contacted several BB card Show promoters. They invited Gerry to be a guest signer at their Shows
during the 1980's. There is more I could tell you, but I will leave it at that.

Default 1953 Topps Card Poster Art by Gerry Dvorak

Thank you Ted Z for your information on Mr Dvorak. Did you ever see this poster?
Could it have been a poster he designed for when he did signings at Sports Card Shows?? I’m lost for words. I attended shows in the late 1980’s to the present and I have never seen this poster by Gerry Dvorak.
Thanks again for your response to my questions.

I bought one from him during an art show in South Orange NJ where he was set up in the 1980's. He produced the poster and would autograph it for the purchaser. That's is what I remember anyway but it was definitely the same poster as you have there

I found this article. Unfortunately it's difficult to read. I don't have the original clipping.
