Default Goudey's Knot Hole League and Varsity Football games : anyone seen a "score chart?"

I wrote a profile of the connection between two obscure Goudey "game" sets, the 1933 Varsity Football and 1935 Knot Hole League Baseball.

http://number5typecollection.blogspo...le-league.html

A missing piece are Goudey's "score charts" for Varsity Football, as mentioned in their marketing letter to retailers. Has anyone seen one of those before? (Even if you don't have a scan, anyone know how they worked?)

Thanks to multiple Net54 members for help with the article and specifically DaveW for the Knot Hole type card scans.

I just saw a knot hole score chart in a recent auction, maybe 2 or so months ago. I want to say in was Andy Sandlers's auction, but I'm not sure. Sorry that's not much help, but I remember thinking it was cool bc I'd never seen one before.

Thanks, that's great to hear. Checked Sandler auctions and couldn't locate a score chart, but will keep looking around. Any other auction sites it might've been?

I enjoyed reading your blog about these sets. Unfortunately, very few collectors care about these obscure game sets, which makes your research even more impressive.

Thanks Dave. Finding that link between both sets was an interesting reminder how these cards all fit like puzzle pieces into a larger business. Working on a follow-up piece for 1938 Goudey, so at least that one's got wider collector interest.
