Default 1910s Chicago White Sox Photos

I have several snapshot photos that look to be from the 1910s, showing the Chicago White Sox in what appears to be batting practice (In a stadium, but I don't think it's Comiskey Park). The uniforms have no names or numbers on the back- When did they start adding those? I figure an answer to this question might help to date these photos.
Thanks!

Nice photos, Dagwood. After a quick glimpse, I can say unequivocally that they depict Comiskey Park. I'll take a better look and see what else gives some clues.

...and if we're going by uniforms, probably between 1912 and 1916, or maybe even good ol' 1919.

yeah 1919 would be nice! Its a shame the players cant really be identified except perhaps that one man walking- but it would be pretty tough to even tell who he is-

Default Please post close up images from two of your photos

.

in particular the cluster of ballplayers waiting for batting practice, where the face of the fan is visible in the bottom right hand corner.

Is suspect these ballplayers may be from the "opposing" team, and am curious as to whether the uniform can be made out to determine who that opponent is. Could be another White Sox squad, but worth a peak.

Also, suspect the person walking could indeed be White Sox Manager Kid Gleason (he does not appear to be carrying either a bat or glove). I would love to see a close up of his (animated/heated) discussion with the man in the suit and hat, in front of the the dugout. The manager/ballplayer appears to have their left arm and hand raised.

Thanks.

Looks like he's wearing a glove so I would say it is not Gleason.
