I'd not ever heard of that. But what's Mr. Bray to do... Mr. Mack could come look at cards whenever he wanted.

It is fun that it specifically mentions the exact number of cards that Charles Bray brought to show Connie Mack.


Here is an interesting thought...

If Connie Mack didn't think Ed Delahanty's card looked like him, perhaps (presumably an Old Judge card) Ed's Old Judge card does not picture Ed Delahanty? If shown an Old Judge, I wonder what pose (stooping, throwing...)? If not Ed, who might it be?

I was thinking the same thing when I read it Brian so I checked to see if there was a particular card that had been questioned if it was him depicted on the card but I didn't find any in a brief search.
