I added a few more photo negatives this week, of drivers Phil Hill & Wolfgang von Trips. Hill was the first American driver to win the F1 drivers championship (he did it in 1961!), and was the winner of this 1961 GP race in Belgian, driving for Ferrari. Also driving for Ferrari was the aristocratic Count Wolfgang Von Trips, who died in a horrible crash a few weeks after this race, at the 1961 Italian GP. Here are a few pics:

I met Phil Hill at local Porsche club big event. Wonderful story teller.

That is cool, I seem to remember reading that Hill was a bit conflicted about continuing to race, at some point in his career, due to a bit of apathy and some fear. Not sure how common that is for F1 drivers as I just re-discovered F1 when I came across these old negatives. Anyway, Hill and Gurney were 2 Americans with some early success in F1! I have a few photo negatives of Hill from this Belgian GP, in the pit area I believe. I just need to digitize them. Thanks!

I added a few more photo negatives today, of drivers Phil Hill & Olivier Gendebien. Also driving for Ferrari was Olivier Gendebien. I also listed a vintage signed photo of boxer Tony Galento, plus a signed photo of Hollywood actor William Haade, of Key Largo & Kid Galahad fame. Forgot to mention that the signed photo of boxer Tony Galento is signed "to" actor "Bill Haade", whose photo I'm also selling in a separate eBay auction. Both of these signed photos I found amongst some other Hollywood photos depicting Haade in many of his movie roles.

For anyone interested, I just listed a few more 1961 Grand Prix photos, of driver Oliver Gendebien, as well as another Hollywood photo of William Haad with Gregory Peck, in the 1941 film Sgt. York. This new Hollywood photo was among the other Haade photos that I am auctioning, including his signed photo.
