Default Collection of 5 late-1800s/early-1900s Baseball Cigar Boxes

I have a collection of 5 baseball themed cigar boxes for sale. These originated from a REA auction about 5 years ago. They do a better job explaining them than an can, so here’s part of the lot description:

Collection of five cigar boxes … each dating from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century, all featuring a baseball motif. This is an outstanding group of these decorative retail dispensers, notable both for their scarcity and elegant designs. All of the items have been opened and do not contain any of the original product. 1) "Base Ball" cigar box. The product name is printed on the lid. The colorful interior label features a generic baseball scene, with a runner sliding head first into the plate. The same label appears partially on the side and underside of the box. Manufactured by B. F. Honsinger of St.Thomas. 8.25 x 5 x 2.5 inches. The interior label is Ex, the box is Vg overall. 2) "Green Bay Base Ball Club" cigar box. The lid features an illustration of a belt bearing the team's initials: "G. B. B. B. C." The colorful interior label features an illustration of a game in progress, focusing on the batter, catcher and umpire. The same label appears partially on the side and underside of the box. Manufactured y John Huerth of Green Bay, Wisconsin. 8.25 x 5 x 2.5 inches. The interior label is Ex-Mt and the box is Ex overall. 3) "Old Time G" cigar box. The lid features the product name. The illustration on the interior label features the portrait of a well dressed woman, surrounded by images of ballplayers in various poses. A pair of crossed bats along the base completes the attractive motif. The central image of the woman and two of the ballplayers appears on the side label. Manufactured by Leonard & Roess of Chicago, Illinois. 9.75 x 5 x 4 inches. The interior label is Vg-Ex (light staining along the edges) and the box is Vg-Ex overall. 4) "Home Run" cigar box. The product name is lettered on the front side. The interior label reads in part "A Big Hit/Home Run/Blended for Mildness." Two small baseball vignettes appear along each border. No exterior labels. Manufactured by Ed. Tyhurst of Newark, Ohio. 10.5 x 6 x 4 inches. The interior label is Vg-Ex (light-to-moderate age toning) and the box is Vg overall, with an image of a man and woman lightly engraved on the lid (not as issued). 5) "Base Ball" cigar box. The product name is printed on the lid and front side. The name on the lid is incorporated into the cigar-brand's logo featuring an illustration of a baseball belt, two crossed bats, a ball, and a cap. The interior label features the same logo. Manufactured by the T. M. Kildow Cigar Co., of Bethesda, Maryland. 8.25 x 5 x 4 inches. The interior label is Vg and the box is Gd-Vg.

Some recent sales for various of these boxes are in the $300-$400 range each (feel free to Google yourself), so looking for $1400 shipped for the group of 5 cigar boxes. Great way to build your man cave display all at once!

No problem. Here are individual photographs. If anyone needs higher quality, feel free to email me at jon_canfield@hotmail.com and I can send them directly. Also, to answer another question, all of the hinges/spines are completely intact and work.

Thanks,
Jon

Thanks to everyone who's messaged me. I've gotten a few questions/request to break up the grouping and sell separately. So, I'm willing to do so (albeit the sum of the parts will be higher than the overall lot). In any event, here are individual prices for anyone who may be interested. Prices include US shipping:

1) "Base Ball" cigar box (B. F. Honsinger) - $475

2) "Green Bay Base Ball Club" cigar box (significantly better condition than the Goldin example) - $450

3) "Old Time G" cigar box - $400

4) "Home Run" cigar box - $200

5) "Base Ball" cigar box (T.M. Kildow) - $200
