I don't have enough cards to have really good cards in bad shape. Just a few commons in really bad shape. |

My thanks to Julie for saving me the trouble of posting my card. My poorest condition card is my Standard Biscuit Ruth, shown in Julie's scan. Julie, it is now in a happy home. Despite all its flaws, it is a Ruth as a pitcher with the Red Sox, something I've always wanted to own. |

The Thorpe goes absolutely nowhere. There was a thread a month or so ago asking what one card would you wish for and my wish was for a m101-5 Thorpe. A very kind lurker sold the card to me along with a number other cards I needed/wanted. I've had the card in possession for about a week. No way I am about to part with any time in the foreseable future. |

Don't have a scan to post, but it has paste on the back and a nice rat nibble on the top border...but it is family. Will be on the front cover of the second edition of my boxing card book (shameless plug). |

with some sort of excess stuff on the back, and right through the excess stuff ran a worm track! It was a trip, and I don't know why I got rid of it. It's a nice archiological piece, if nothing else. |

Here's a bug eaten OJ that I picked up on ebay recently... It's an OJ HOFer so I wont complain too much... the bugs didn't get the back so at least the back is clean... I hope the bug enjoyed it's meal... out of the batch of cards the seller had, this is the only bug eaten one... at least the bugger chewed himself a good card... |

enough damage actually done to cards by bugs for them to be called so particularly. Is it wet or dry, indoors or outdoors, that attracts them? |

I have a Diamond Stars Red Ruffing that actually looks pretty good, in terms of corners, borders, creases, etc. Only problem is it looks like somebody went to the bathroom on it. The card has an almost uniform brownness to it. I'm selling it now that I bought a nicer 1933 Goudey, in VG-EX condition. |

In my post I hope you understand that "beat" means mine is much uglier, as I'd rather have a Matty portrait than a Brown. |
