Arrow Sold

I have for sale a 1973-79 Adirondack Mike Schmidt MS20 game used bat. Schmidt played his entire career (1972 to 1989) with the Philadelphia Phillies. He retired after the 1989 season a career .267 hitter with 2,234 hits, 548 HRs, and 1,595 RBIs. He was a 12-time All Star selection, 10-time Gold Glove Award winner, 6-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and 3-time NL MVP. He was a World Series champion and World Series MVP in 1980 and the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award winner in 1983. He had his Phillies #20 retired in 1990 and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995.

This 36", 35.3 oz gamer shows evidence of excellent use. Many ball marks and light seam impressions are visible on the left barrel surface along with some nice grain swelling and slight separation from repeated contact. A few red rack streaks are also present. The finish on the barrel has some pretty heavy flaking on the left and backside of the barrel in the contact area. There is a light coat of pine tar around the mid-handle area and it is not cracked. The knob is stamped with the model number (MS20) and the
original weight, while not legible because of wear, is written on the knob. Schmidt's #20 is written in black marker.

This bat is accompanied by an LOA from Hall of Fame Bats.
