Default Toe Blake Quaker Oats?

Hi-

I found this Toe Blake blank backed item at some antique show in the last year or two. Is this a 1938/39 Quaker Oats item? Is this a box cutout or a premium? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please share any similar items you have.

Alan

Hey Alan,

we haven't talked in a long while. Still finding some great 19th century baseball items?
The answer to your question is yes, your Blake is a 1938-39 Quaker Oats that has been trimmed. The cards were all blank on the reverse.

Hope this helps.

Thank you guys! Brent, it has been a long time. I hope you get back to Massachusetts sometime soon! I have been lucky in picking up some really cool early baseball items recently. Not as much hockey although I did get a cool hand carved hockey stick last year. I hope all is well and that you continue to add to your collection.

Alan
