Default 1962 semi hi # green tints

Going through many cards..putting the partial sets in order...I found about 10 cards in this series...that look like green tints to me....who said they're only from 110-196? Here's a sample

Tints like this, where a card has different color tones based on the inking are in pretty much every Topps series. The 1957's and series 1 1958's have red tints, the late 60's and 1970's have blue tints in many series. I'm one of the fools who buys these when I come across one of a different tint, but I wouldn't consider it an actual variation.

Second series 1962 is, I think, very different because it was an entirely different production run, with different images and croppings, the result not of different inking but a whole lot of differences. The 1963 Football's have a very similar variation to this.

I think there is a big difference between 2 cards getting updated caps to reflect trades, and what happened with series 2 where the entire set was redesigned (note not only the handful of changed photos but the re-cropping; Topps redesigned almost the entire sheet).

As far as I can tell, these green, red or blue 'tints' where one color seems more prevalent are not the result of a unique press run. Topps sets with stock variations will show this kind of tinting on both stocks.

I often wonder whether every pre 1980 Topps card has at least some printing difference from it's "common" counterpart on either the front or back....if you just keep looking
