I know some are quite common and others extremely rare. Perhaps Jay Miller and RIchard Masson's forthcoming book on the set will shed some light. |

Can anyone shed some light on this? Are there any books currently available just about N172 Old Judges? |

I understand the Jay Miller book will be released in a few months. Until then, Lew Lipset Vol. 1 is probably your best bet. Several chapters are devoted to N172s. |

Eric, the book will explain why requesting a card of Charles Kremmeyer on the B/S/T probably won't help you obtain one . . . and MUCH more. |

No one has responded to the initial request. Any production numbers available or a guess ? Original production vs surviving copies ! Any company records from the 19th Century available ? |

There are no production numbers for really any set, so you always have to make an educated guess. I would venture to say that OJ's were issued in extremely large numbers, based on the tens of thousands of survivors and the popularity of the cards. |

Okay, now I gotta hear about this Kremmeyer and why it's a 100K card. |

It's a $100K card because Wink hasn't worked since the eighties and is hard-up for cash. |

I gotta think "Wink" probably wouldn't even sell it if someone really did offer him 100K. |
