My vote is both the 1911 T201 Mecca Folder set and the 1910-12 Sweet Caporal P2 pin set! |

You never see them, even on ebay. They have all the stars of the day and all the Black Sox. Furthermore, it is a large set of 120 cards. The book has Hofer's at $150 and commons at $60. I have never seen one on ebay nor offered on the board except for myself(I have 3 Hofer's) and Dan Mckee which has a few Hofer's priced at $1000. They are impossible. You never here about this set and the guide's are wrong on the pricing due to the fact they have no compariable's for price. The price on these in the guide's has been the same for 10 years. Lastly, Bob Lemke just did a full page article on these in the latest SCD (weekly publication). I bet a Joe jackson in this set would bring the house down as the M101-4's and 5's due very well. Very unique set in a era of not many card issue's. That's my Most Undervalued Set. Would love to here peoples comment on this post. |

Seems to me that Riggs Stephenson and his cards are underappreciated, as well. |

I almost never see them ANYUWHERE. They are excellent likenesses of the players, and they are funny. Something we undervalue in baseball cards, BTW. |

That is true Julie! I only have one - and wish I could find one of those "How will you have it" cards; because of the historical commentary. |

Again, biased as I am, I still think E101s are a bargain compared to their E102 siblings. If you check pop reports (not reliable), there are more examples, if not twice as many, of E102 HOFers than E101s. Yet, they still seem to sell at significantly higher prices. Yeah, the backs are pretty uninteresting with both but who gets excited over American Caramel or Dockman backs anyway? |
