Yeah, that must be it. Not to mention the parking charges.

The Mets could have "Bonilla Days" at the Citi Field when the team is on road trips. These would be picnics in the outfield serving hot dogs and beer at the usual prices along with selling Bonilla jerseys and autographs, accompanied by a continuous playing of Frank Sinatra's rendition of "New York, New York" on the PA system.

"Bonus Bonilla Days" could be added sporadically with Bobby in attendance wandering around the outfield thanking his fans and being photographed with them and their "Bonilla babies", who later in life will never understand why the picture was taken and who this Bonilla character was. Nor will they understand who Sinatra was.

This will allow the Mets to reduce parking and concession prices during actual home games. Problem solved.

In the event that Bobby passes before his salary is paid in full, expect to see
surcharges for ketchup and mustard on those $10.00 dogs to offset the elimination of "Bonus Bonilla Days" from the schedule.

Sounds like good family fun. Can I pay with Bonilla Bucks?
