Default Notre Dame Yearbooks

Posted By: Dan

I found my grandfather's Notre Dame yearbooks. I have them from 1924 - 1927. Obviously the 1924 one is probably the most collectible since it has all of the information reagrding the "Four Horseman". I am curious if anyone knows if yearbooks have any value. Thanks.

Default Notre Dame Yearbooks

I've had, and sold, the 1925 Dome, which covered the 1924 football season. I sold it through Mastronet and was disappointed with the price it brought - I think it would have brought more through eBay. I've seen a lot of variety in the prices for these - from $150 to $400+ and I wish I could tell you what the rhyme or reason was, but I can't. I would thoroughly check them out for any signatures – and then put them on eBay with a reserve price and be patient - wait for the price you want. Right now I have the 1923 and 1924 yearbooks which cover the 1922 and 1923 football seasons. I paid under $50 for the 1923 Dome and $250 for the 1924 edition. In the auction where I bought the 1923 and 1925 Domes (for $50, buy it now, on eBay) I also bought a large 1923 football team picture - that sold for $1,000 through Mastronet, so you have to know what items suit which auctions. Good luck!
