Good day at the Tampa show. The place was packed, very different vibe these days.

Found a few cards I’ve wanted and found my last 54 Topps card to complete my set.

Congrats to finally have it in hand. Beautiful card - I still don't see why it is only a 2.

Default Finally!

My kids and I are working on quite an array of Pirate team sets. We are very focused on centering on the Topps issues. We've been underbidders on probably 4 of these over the last couple of years. Really happy to finish our 52 Pirate team set by finally landing this one courtesy of Sterling auctions (Thanks Lee).

Now, Anyone have tough back T205, T206 or T207 Pirates they would consider selling?

I am actively buying vintage sports cards graded and raw, singles and sets and also open to trading. I love the odd and obscure – food issues, test issues, etc. Some feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

Very nice, Howard. A rather tough card to find centered, especially like yours.

Picked up a couple of Ernie Banks card. Accidently picked up cards from the same year. One Bowman, the other Topps. I wonder which I would have gone after if I had been a kid in 1955?

Thanks Matt and Phil. It wasn't the highest card on my want list but it was one of the nicest Banks RC's I've seen in any grade.

Gotta ask. What exactly did you trade for that great haul? I tuned in to the video until the very end without any satisfaction.

LOL!!!

It was a Michael Jordan rookie year ticket. They had a similar example that sold in Goldin recently for quite a bit so we had some price data to go off of. I actually had 2 of the item so I was happy to make the trade. Sorry for leaving you hanging!!!
