Default 1963 64 Parkhurst Hockey

Why is this set so hard to complete? I've been working on my Parkhurst hockey run for a few years, and these '63s are proving hard to come by! I do still need 21 to complete my 1951 set, but the others?
1952 need 1
1953 need 1
1954 need 1
1955 need 3
1957 need 4
1958 need 0
1959 need 1
1960 need 0
1961 need 1
1962 need 0
1963 need 6
Todays mail brought a hit to my '63s, the last card in the set #99 Cesare Maniago which appears to be the most expensive card I have left to purchase in the 1963 set. This card was listed on eBay for $39.99 OBO free shipping. The next cheapest listed card is $206 OBO! So I offered $20 and the seller countered $25 which I accepted. These 1963-64 Parkie are proving TOUGH!

Default Nice catd

Great card, Larry! I just started that set a few months ago, and have been having fun tracking a few of them down. I haven’t got enough yet to figure out the tough ones. Best of luck in the hunt!

Cheers,
Geno

I was having trouble with some hockey cards too, decided to bite the bullet and made the trip to the big Toronto show, it was well worth the trip !!

Found a bunch of cards I needed, I'm currently building the 1966-67 Topps hockey set and 1967-68 set . Im planning on going back to Toronto in 2024
