Picked up a Honus Wagner "pencil topper" at an antique store in kentucky on saturday. Wondering if anyone has any information on these old things

They were made in the '50s and sold at ballparks if I recall...I have seen a Cobb and a Matty as well. Not wonderfully rare but still interesting. I know they are listed somewhere in the SCD but can't remember offhand.

Thanks. I couldn't find information on it anywhere despite my best google-ing efforts. I thought it was interesting so i picked it up for 3.00. I think i got my money's worth

I have a similar Cobb, didn't know there was other players. I believe there are some newer version out there but are yellow not green.

Yeah, I saw a few on the Austrailia Ebay but they were shiney and all yellow. They had a Cobb, Ruth and Matty.
