I got this 1985 Topps Mini test set Ryan from the REA auction. Not only a great card, but it completes my set.

Otis - congrats on the Ryan and completing the set. Tough issue. I was able to finish it in regular and blank backs, although my blank backs are a mix of the two types. I guess technically it could be finished 3 ways. I also have about 1/2 the set in red backs, no green ink. Doubt I can finish it that way. Might have involved only one sheet. Also have a few swirled backs.

The 80 Coins, 82 Blackless, 84 Encased, 85 Minis, 88 Cloth and 89 Big Head Suckers and Double Header Yankee/Mets proofs and prototypes were the toughest Topps issues of the 80s to complete in my experience.

Al, my set is a mix of regular and blank backs. I admire your ability to build multiple sets, but i think I'll stop here. I don't have the stamina.

Found these in my stocking Christmas morning. 87 Topps Tiffany Barry Larkin RC. And two 2008 Joey Votto alternate RC: the annual Kahns set, and the 2008 December issued Redsfest set.

Wanted this one for a long time, and opened a lot of these packs with no luck.

There's a 1988 Topps Double Header Yankees/Mets set also. I had the set minus the Mattingly earlier this year and sold off the Mets. I paid $45 for the group of 7, but the Mets got me back that money alone and let me keep the Yankees effectively for free.
