Anyone ever been to yahoo Auctions? since it gets so little attention no one bids on stuff i picked up a chief bender t206 psa for 14 bucks and the seller actually sent it to me. My only concern with them as opposed to Ebay is safety but otherwise i can't believe i pulled this deal off.

What was it graded ? IMO you got lucky, I would never trust a yahoo auction...lots of stolen scans and fakes.

I gave up a couple of years ago because of the fakes and there never seemed to be a chance to get a bargain, the starting prices always ssem to be too high. That is reflective though of fewer people bidding on the auctions.

I just looked at the current auctions for T206, starting bids are way out of line. Maybe I'll check in another 2 years..
By the way, Great pick up, If you want to turn a quick profit I'll give you $30.

Lee

Maybe you won it because the seller listed it so bad i couldnt find it under completed auctions using t206,t-206,Chief,Bender or psa or psa4 or any combo of those so i would say it was just luck.I checked out the opening prices and they were all out of line but the good part about yahoo is the yahooians that bid on reprints have less people to compete with so they pay less for their worthless cards. Whoever heard of a Ty Cobb reprint not disclosed as such going for under $50 on ebay!
