Default The Two Gooses...or is it Geese?

I just wanted to post this because I thought it was interesting that two atheletes for two different sports, and different eras, have the same nick-name. Although the last names are spelled differently, I'm sure they are pronounced similarly.

This is probably only interesting to me.
