Default Best buy?

Thank goodness for "qualifiers"! If it wasn't for the (ST) I would not have been able to capture this one.

Not as spectacular as some of the other buys here, but picking up about 110 low grade T206s for $100 in the late 80s was one of the things that made it possible for me to make a push to get the set. It included a lot of lower to mid level hall of famers and southern leaguers.

A bigger money purchase i made that worked out well was at one of the Tuff Stuff shows I got a nice Seaver rookie, a low to mid grade Cracker Jack Walter Johnson and a nice Juan Marichal rookie for $400.

My t206 Joe Doyle and t206 Ed Cicotte. I payed $90 for each card, raw. The Cicotte graded a 5 and the Doyle a 4. Obviously their prices have gone up.
