Default I don't always list a $5 card for an opening bid of $2,200...

...but when I do, I make sure it has an $8 sticker on it and some mold or something in the bottom right corner.

You can make an offer on the card. Send an offer for $8 and see if it is accepted.

Is it worth $22 perhaps ? If so, he has the decimal in the wrong place.
