Default '55 Topps Hocus Focus Card Results

Finally got my submission back thought I would post the results here if anyone is interested (for the baseball card examples will leave the non-sports ones out). Did post the Rocky Marciano think that one is cool. These cards are extremely difficult to find for anyone that knows about the set.

Highlight is I got the highest card ever graded in the entire set, a PSA 7 Mel Parnell. There has only been 1 PSA 6 ever graded, a Wally Moon and it just sold a few weeks ago for between $4k-$5k I think.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Great grades on really neat cards. I wish I knew more about them. Was looking at others the other day, they have really cool backs too. Awesome...

Those are great. Do not usually see such clear, clean examples. I am one short of completing the 55 baseball subset but my cards pale in comparison the these

In my view this is the toughest actually issued Topps baseball set to complete. The 56 is pretty tough too. For some reason the 48s, Magic Photos, are easier

Very nice. Your Marciano and mine are the same grade but I think yours presents nicer. Academic, really, since these cards are so hard to find that collectors pretty much take what they can get.

Al's right. Trying to put together any subset of these is an exercise in extreme patience. I'm just glad there are only four boxers (counting the Marciano small and large).
