Only one more to pick up the T206 Bill O'Hara error card (looking for one graded a 2 or a 3 with nice visual appeal for the grade) in a few months then I will slow down for a while to save back up for future purchases.

Would like to pick up a shoeless Joe Jackson E90-1 Caramel card graded authentic or a one graded a 1 or a one graded a 2 in the future I will have to save up for a long while after the O'Hara T206 error card is purchased.

Those are very nice pickups, especially the Mantle. I can see why you said in the REA thread that you will be giving the whales a run for their money. However, just be cautious when buying BIN's on ebay. You will typically be overpaying rather than when you buy via regular auctions. Nice collection of cards, regardless.

Did you look at those on Heirtage for auction.?.They have several on there.
I place on few bids on the low-end ones, but expected it get blown away.

Yes looked at a lot (over many years been collecting post war cards since I was 9 years old) of places before pulling the trigger on the Mantle card...it is truly as nice as they come in that specific grade (4). I have NO regrets at all on this card.

Default What to say...

Absolutely amazing cards... Not only one but all four are gorgeous. If you are a big fish then I will consider myself a microorganism for now.

Default "Mid-Size Fish in a Lake"

Being in college and having an internshp has stunt my monetary growth... I will grow eventually, but only after the shackles of college life break off. Anyways, I very much enjoy the members of Net 54 showing off their new buys and rare treasures.

If we put all of the members' cards/memorabilia together it would probably be more valuable than the what's in the Hall of Fame...

I need the O'Hara to complete my set of 520. Nice to know there is a big fish hunting in the same water. I'm a minnow since I retired. Well, I've waited 35 years. Hopefully have a few more.

Adrian, it is a two billion dollar hobby. You own $20k worth of cards. That is 1/100,000th of the market cap of baseball cards... you own 0.001% of the total value of baseball cards out there.

So maybe not a minnow, but a small fish, buddy. But I'm a small fish, too. Nothing to be ashamed of. We've got a lot of small fishes on this board.

Well after reading this enlightful info I now consider myself a small fish that is almost there to becoming a small-medium fish. Awesome
