Default Thank You SGC

It appears that SGC has updated their Pop Report to help us T206 nerds. Previously, you could only search by back-type (and by each year 1909, 1910, 1911) and not name or by back type regardless of year. However, today, I noticed they had a "T206 Master Pop" link which takes you to a pop report by name, and then by each back-type for that name/front. This is HUGE on two levels: (i) Now I do not need to search many times to find the population of a particular player, which was particularly annoying for cards that have multiple years/series (like Piedmont, Sweet Cap, Sovereign, Cycle, etc), and (ii) I do not need to start a whole new search every time I want to search a new player or back.

Thank you SGC for listening to the OG guys. I know you are blowing up with modern, and I am happy that you guys are doing so well. But you were built on vintage and we appreciate your hearing us out and making this change. I see you have made E107 listed by name (definitely better but still confusing bc not always in alphabetical order), and we still need minor tweaks with W600 (can do same type of thing with master pop). But this is a huge and greatly appreciated change.

Default Yep

Ryan, I've noticed they've been very responsive to my suggestions on other issues too. I asked them to combine some of the multiple listings they had for N173's, C46's, etc. and they fixed those issues within 48 hours. It's still not perfect, but at least they are listening and it's shaping the pop report into a much more useful product.

Default Sgc

I watched all 4 of SGC's YouTube video's, which were very helpful. The search problems seem to be resolved and the site is much easier to use.

My only complaint is that the mistakes/issues that were present in the old pop report have not been fixed, and maybe it will be impossible to fix them. For instance:

Search for Weil Baking. The 1917 comes up correctly as D328, but the report incorrectly still shows 1916 D328 and 1916 D329.

Also, a search for T213 seems OK, but a search for Coupon comes up with 6 different baseball sets. Also, try searching the T213-2 report for Chief Bender, and 22 different cards come up, when there are only 6 different Bender cards in the set.

I do like the new pop report and I appreciate all of the thought and work that SGC has put into it. It is much more user friendly than the previous pop report, but I doubt that it will be possible to identify all of the errors from the old pop report and get them cleaned up.

It looks like the set registry is still a work in progress. I have 80 or so of my T213-2's listed, with photos, in the old registry, which still works fine, but I would like to be able to add my other 50 cards to either the old registry or the new registry.
