Tapatalk - iPad app - having issues, pls help!

Just purchased this app for iPad. Seemed cool at first but then I soon noticed two issues while viewing net54:

1) I don't see a vast majority of the images posted in messages. Just a few. Any advice on how to fix?

2) I can't figure out how to post a new thread or even respond to an ongoing thread.

Am I completely out of it or does this app have big limitations?
