I'm doing a deal on a modern card. The seller dosen't know me because he doesn't collect tobacco cards. Could you guys give him some references for me please?

I have dealt with Luke on many occasions on both sides of transactions as a seller and buyer. Luke has proven to be an honest individual, he honors his word without exception. Shipping is always quick as is payment. As far as I'm concerned any transaction with him will go smoothly.

Luke, you have my email if you want to give it to him to contact me as a reference feel free.

If he's looking for references in this thread I can add that you're at the top of my list of the most trustworthy people that I've dealt with in the hobby.

Luke is a great collector, a good guy, and a friend. We have done well over $30k of deals together over the years, including a 5 figure deal for a t206 Crawford Uzit, consummated less than a month ago

Mr Modern Collector: There are plenty of folks to buy and sell with who will irritate the shit out of you. Luke is definitely not one of them. We concluded a sale of a T206 Lajoie Old Mill back last year in a most cordial manner. My highest recommendation. Tell 'em Kawika sent ya.

Highly recommend as a buyer or seller.

Luke, when you say "modern", are you talking about a 1956 Topps Yogi Berra, or a Jeremy Pena rookie refractor?

Chuck Norris (Luke Lyon) Jokes

Luke Lyon doesn’t read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.

Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Luke Lyon.

If you spell Luke Lyon in Scrabble, you win. Forever.

Luke Lyon breathes air … five times a day.

In the Beginning there was nothing … then Luke Lyon roundhouse kicked nothing and told it to get a job.

When God said, “Let there be light!” Luke said, “Say Please.”

Luke Lyon has a mug of nails instead of coffee in the morning.

The dinosaurs looked at Luke Lyon the wrong way once. You know what happened to them.

Luke Lyon’s tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.

(Yeah, Luke is Aces).

Luke once sent me 50 T206 rigid card holders.

When they arrived, the cards were missing.

When Luke got my payment envelope, it was empty as well.

I still think the most brilliant Chuck Norris joke along these lines is that he could slam a revolving door.

Wow, thanks so much everyone. It was very nice to read all these kind words.

Rob, I think I'd get kicked off the forum if I said exactly what I was buying, but it's a lot closer to the Pena than the Berra
