SUCH a great letter.

I particularly enjoyed the part about the high salaries in 1952.

Thanks Rhys, I lucked out on this one ! I was in the middle of a card trade when the collector pulls out the Ford letter. "Would you be interested in this ?," about died and went to heaven. Really happy to own it !!

Walter Danaby (Ford's response was addressed to him) was quite the autograph collector. Jim Stinson sold several items from Danaby's autograph collection several years ago. I was fortunate to purchase two or three tougher autographs that I needed for my vintage Detroit Tigers autograph collection at that time.
