Default T206 back question

I just purchased a pretty sizeable lot of T206 cards, PSA graded. Making my way through them all, and saw this on the odd cover up on the factory line. I am pretty new to pre war but in all my research, I haven't seen anything like this. The card is a PSA 3 with no qualifiers. Is this just an overprint? A pen mark?

Where's my friend Johnny? Any idea, bud?

Default Guess

My guess is a pen mark covering the factory information. The mark does not look printed due to the wave....

Johnny, Chris, Steve B. ???

Since it is not the same color as the rest of the back I would say it is not from the factory. Not 100% but didn't someone alter a few of these to make them similar to the real Sweet Caporal overprints?

Thanks for the feedback. Here is a more extreme close up. With the naked eye it doesn't look manmade due to a really sort of straightness along the top. But magnified it looks like pen. But surprised PSA didn't give out an MK..it's not like it's a nicer card knocked down to a 3 due to "no qualifiers."

Okay! Wasn't expecting much but thought I'd ask the experts. Another fine job from PSA! Thanks everyone. Johnny, will be in touch!

I don't like the flow.

It looks slowly drawn, not to mention jagged.

It may well be a pen mark, but I doubt its authenticity.

Was this card purchased from Coaches Corner?

No, Frank, but I love the weaving together of my evening comments. It was part of a T206 collection I purchased, that was mostly commons but had a few nice SLers and a handful of HOFers...I am still going through them all but when the dust settles my Monster # should be considerably higher than it is currently reported.
