Default Disco Dan Ford wearing a size 48 jersey????

https://www.ebay.com/itm/203420276651?

Dan Ford was a little over 6 feet tall and weighed about 185 pounds in 1975, his rookie year. He stole 36 bases his first 4 years in the Majors, playing for the Twins. Who would've guessed he wore a size 48 jersey?

See the above listing on ebay. I messaged the seller a few days ago but never received a reply and he didn't update his listing. Here's what I sent him:

Hi, just FYI, this is an old timers game jersey for Al Worthington. Al wore #15 throughout his career with the Twins and was overweight at the end of his career. The jersey number, size (48) and autograph indicate this. Dan Ford was not a big guy and would have a jersey much smaller than size 48.

If Ford was that big when he was 22 years old, he would've been known as Waddling Dan, not Disco Dan. Just sayin'.

I have Ford's game used Orioles jersey from 1983 (which was several years later) and it's a size 44
