Default HOF voting 2024?

Hi--

Maybe this has been discussed, but with the new "ERA committees" I am confused about when and whether the so-called Veterans Committees are voting for HOFers and who the potential candidates are.

I tried looking around the internet and (as with most things) I just got more confused.

Anyone have a good bead on this?

Jeff

The new “Veteran’s Committee” rotation:

2022: Players 1980-Present
2023: Non players (Owners, Managers, Umpires, etc.)
2024: Players before 1980

The cycle then repeats. I’m not sure the 2024 ballot (2025 induction) has been released.

I sure hope so. I’ve noticed Glasscock has been trending up lately. His AG has gotten expensive even in lower grades.

That was my original reason for joining this site around four months ago -- to find a 3 or 4 at a decent price. It took me about five days, which opened a whole new world of commerce.

I've been hanging on to a handwritten letter for eons, just hoping. No, it's not for sale--yet.

I'm with you, guys. I've been sitting on an AG graded a 6 from Beckett. Sure, it's Beckett, but I paid $80 for it when I bought it raw.
